Inspired by the standards of fine jewelry, our metallic eyewear is crafted exclusively from titanium, a material celebrated for its exceptional strength and weightless feel.
Through a complex transformation process, raw titanium is converted into high-grade plates or delicate wire.
Depending on design, these base materials are meticulously shaped to form the signature front of each Bolon frame.
To ensure the highest level of quality, we master every stage in-house, from initial eyewear design to final assembly. Our molds are no exception; they are designed, engineered, and manufactured in-house by a dedicated team.
This expert team produces 1,000 precision molds annually, with each one engineered to be used over 3,000 times to guarantee consistency in every frame.
From a single strand of raw titanium wire, each temple undergoes seven meticulous stages of shaping to achieve ergonomic perfection.
To ensure a finish that is as resilient as it is radiant, we apply a specialized pvd (physical vapor deposition) coating followed by exhaustive hand-polishing.
The result : an immaculate, scratch-resistant surface born from precision engineering consistency.
By maintaining 100% control over the manufacturing process, we grant our designers the ultimate freedom to blend contrasting materials with precision.
In this design, a resilient titanium structure is seamlessly encased in transparent acetate, allowing us to play with metallic finishes and vibrant colors. This mastery of both titanium and acetate manufacturing ensures the most captivating and sophisticated combinations.
